- Description
- This work has a somewhat open figure with its rim warped a little bit outward. A circle is outlined on the bottom of the bowl, with two line crossed over it. There are four leaf patterns outside the circle and their outlines are white bands on a background. In each part divided by this white band there are small designs drawn in black lines resembling cross multiplication motifs, Saya (fret) motifs, and Bishamon lozenge motifs. They are overglazed in violet, yellow, and green. The effect of this composition of line-drawn designs is distinctively modern.
