- TOSHIOKA Kosen III is consistently developing the ceramic process, especially turning, and frequently comes up with new firing effects. This beautiful large bowl is remarkably contemporary looking. It uses the technique of Hongama firing, such as the unwaxed cross mat glaze groundwork inside and outside with gradation and slight touching in red of Shinsha glaze composed of copper and tin using the Shakukake technique.
