- Description
- FUJIWARA Shunzei was the son of FUJIWARA Toshitada and the father of FUJIWARA Teika. He was well-known as a poet, a leader in the poetry circles at the time and a selector of the Senzai-shu anthology. This work is a segment of the Kokin Waka-shu anthology that Shunzei copied and of FUJIWARA Okikaze and KINO Tsurayuki’s autumn poems from the 5th volume. It is copied in Shunzei’s individual style. It is also called the Ryosa-gire segment because KOHITSU Ryosa wrote a small statement declaring this work''s authenticity.
