- Description
- SHUN-OKU Soen was the 111th priest of the Daitokuji Temple, a successor to SHOREI Sokin, and took the nom de plume of Ichimokushi. He was given the name of Most Reverend Priest by the Emperor Goyozei. This work is the first 2 lines of the Shichibutsu Tsukai Ge, Shakamuni’s admonition that tells us about Buddhism. It shows SHUNOKU’s humane touch.
