Description
Ko-sometsuke style has a simple atmosphere, many of the works having simple, funny and charming designs, and this work is painted in free brush stroke. In several places, called Mushikui (bug eaten) parts the glaze has chipped off, and as a result, they generate elegant rusticity. Tea masters particularly favored and loved this style. In many cases images of Ichikanjin (people of leisure) decorate the coal lid covers. Off to one side there is a doll and its figure is similar to a person of leasure looking into a well. That’s why this work is called as Ichikanjin
