- This is known as a big deep bowl, the type of a bowl used for hand washing. This work imitated gosu-akae overglaze enamel ware. The main designs on the inner and outer sides are Chinese figures playing, and one peony flower is painted in a circular window on the flat bottom. Arabesque flowers, four-petal flowers and scroll motifs are arranged as additional designs to complete the composition. Red, yellow, green, violet and ultramarine, besides yellow green pigments are used. However the overall color tone is dim.
