- YOSHITA Minori depicts these magnolia flowers, buds and leaves with the Yurikinsai technique using underglazed gold that he himself developed. He made this work especially elegant and graceful by varying the thickness of the gold leaf, using a thick layer for the petals, a thinner layer for the leaves, and tracing clear-cut outlines in gold leaf to sharpen the overall pattern.
