This shelf is constructed by straight line and putted the metal fittings in places. The warped legs impress the stability. The top-board is arranged the shining moon in the clouds by gradation, and autumnal grasses is painted on the doors and sideboards. It expresses the seven flowers of autumn (bush clover, Japanese pampas grass, bellflower etc.), and dayflowers by several techniques (maki-e, raden, kanagai, kirikane). The composition is succeeded to that of Kaga maki-e style in Edo period but it is more realistic.
