Description
This is a Tenmoku type tea bowl features both a yellow glaze and candy glaze doubly powdered on rough red brown clay. The excellent shape is a common feature of the Tenmoku type, but there is a slight curve around the rim. This tea bowl is with handsome and warm. On both the outer and inner body a yellow glaze has been powdered, and then a dark black candy glaze has been dusted. The unglazed clay is exposed at the lower part. The candy glaze powdered over the yellow fully produces a contrasting tone. Around the center thick lines appear, and these are a feature of this work.
