Description
Kentai is a technique of composition using magewa blocks (curved wood blocks) which are lacquered to make them hard. This work is made using about 50 magewa blocks. They are divided into 2 layers above the red line and 3 layers below the red line. The diamond-pattern openwork is not hollowed out afterward but fit together the convex and concave curves
