- Description
- This rectangular box has two layers. The clay used is soft and bright brown. It has a white underglaze and transparent glaze has been dusted over it. The structure consists of designs with vertical band combinations of thick and thin lines in five colors, which cause the brown and ground white to take on a lively appearance. The underside of the cover and the inside of the box are glazed green. Viewed from underneath, both the top and the bottom of the box are seen to be unglazed, allowing the white clay to show through the transparent overglaze.
