- Description
- Both the upper and lower levels of the table are formed in a five-petal shape, and the structure has five legs as well, creating a superb shape. Clay unique to the Aoya style has been underglazed in white. On the upper level is a circular phoenix design, on the legs are paulownias, and on the lower level is a round dragon design each produced with exquisite brush work. This is the most extravagant work among the tables of Aoya style and is regarded as one of representative works.
