- This depicts the Kudara Kannon Goddess, the famous National treasure at Horyuji Temple. Using a side view, which reveals the Kannon most beautifully, the exquisite combination of curves and straight lines created by the body, the arms and the robe in lightly laid translucent colors suggest pure space, suggesting the world of Buddhism.
