- The water chestnut is depicted in mother-in-pearl work in white butterfly shell. The leaves are portrayed by scratching the spattered gold powder. The blue shells are scattered over the background. The clouds are expressed skillfully by gradations in the metal decoupage in Uchigumo style. The patterns fantastically look as if they were embossed.
