- On the right side of the picture is depicted a spring landscape with rocks in the lower part depicted in strong brushstrokes and the trees in the center growing dim as the water flows. In the autumn landscape on the left picture, a woodcutter setting off homeward at a quick pace suggests the advent of a hard winter. Based on the traditional technique of landscape painting, the fit colors realistically represents the extensive space.
