- KITADE Fujio uses the traditional technique of Kutani ware painting on pottery in a contemporary way and has introduced fresh influences, such as colorful Persian style pottery and three-dimensional carved effects. He depicts a deer and a horned owl together on the lid, and the rokuro (wheel) strokes were left. With Old-Kutani Aote type’s colors, the animal’s small world in the twilight is well captured.
