- The leaves of bush clover in mother-of-pearl inlay sparkle in spirited fashion. They are decoratively placed all over this small tea caddy as if wrapping themselves around it. A pattern of flowing water appears inside the caddy in gold-sprinkled lacquer relief. The inscription “By Korin” can be seen at the bottom, written in gold lacquer. SEN-no-Rikyu designed this style of ‘Fubuki’ tea caddy shape, whose lid and body are rounded off at the corners. The lid is only slightly shallower than the body.
