Description
The soaring flock of cranes is expressed by the outline of gold decoupage and the black lacquer on the top, the front and the rear of the lid. Fine gold powder is scattered on the background. The wave pattern is arranged using gold decoupage on the side. Metal decoupage is a technique used for creating patterns by putting a patterned gold or silver sheet on the surface of the lacquer and then burnishing or tearing off the lacquer. The use of this technique to describe the outline of cranes shows the harshness of nature as well as the energetic flapping of the cranes.
