- Description
- On the right screen is depicted KUSUNOKI Masashige’s battle at Chihaya Castle in 1332. The story of NITTA Yoshisada’s invasion of Kamakura in 1333 is represented on the left screen. It tells us that he rode away on his horse to pray to the dragon for a successful advance against the enemy by throwing his golden sword into the sea. Then the tide was on the ebb to open the way for the future. The whole screen is dynamically expressed in an uproar.
