- HIRAZAKURA Kazumasa has consistently produced work depicting the atmosphere of Hokuriku. Making best use of the vertical space of the screen, he depicts a corner of a park in Komatsu in early summer, featuring a stone bridge slightly above the centerline. A group of trees extending over the upper part and the shadows reflected on the surface of the water on the lower part form a pattern in cool and restrained colors.
