- This is a Kutani Gosai type (five colors of Kutani ware) work in TOKUDA Yasokichi II’s best-loved style, a contemporary revival of Old-Kutani. The tortoise representing longevity which is painted inside the dish is surrounded with nine major flower patterns and 81 round patterns in a total of nine patterns on each side. They are based on accurate sketches and are both detailed and sumptuous.
