- Two attractive white hares are arranged in the center of this picture, which features a low hill delicately painted against a gold background. Unfortunately, the most of the bush clover has become effaced. It appears that this work is part of a bigger composition made up of more panels. We can see a seal declaring “Sosetsu Hokkyo” and a round seal, “Inen” in red at the lower right. This painting is of interest since it shows the skill of Sosetsu, an apprentice of Sotatsu.
